Run by licensed and experienced Florence veterinarians, our veterinary clinic and animal hospital is committed to educating our clients on how to keep your pets healthy year round through annual wellness visits, good nutrition and exercise. Our team stays current on the latest advances in veterinary technology and, above all, remembers that all animals and pets need to be treated with loving care in every check-up, procedure, or surgery.

We are happy to offer a number of resources that enable you to learn more about taking care of your pets. The best veterinary care for animals is ongoing nutrition, exercise, and proactive wellness care, so becoming knowledgeable about preventative pet care is essential to the ongoing success of your animal’s health.

Dr. Ryan Andrews

Veterinarian

Dr. Ryan Andrews is one of our Associate Veterinarians here at Westside Veterinary Clinic.    He graduated veterinary school from Mississippi State University and has spent his career learning how to provide the best care for your pets.  If you ask Dr. Ryan what his favorite parts of being a veterinarian are, he will tell you that he loves building relationships with clients and he loves spending time performing surgeries.

When you meet Dr. Ryan, he will always spend the time to make sure you know the best options possible for your pet’s care.  He will also make sure to help you find alternative treatment options if needed in case the “ideal” plan may not be realistic for you.

Dr. Ryan is a Mississippi native, and he met his wife (Dr. Mary Andrews) while in veterinary school at Mississippi State.  Shortly after graduating, Dr. Ryan and Dr. Mary got married, did some traveling, and then finally settled down in the low country.  They have three amazing kids together and they recently purchased a farm!

For hobbies, Dr. Ryan enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, and working on a veterinary telemedicine platform he created called ReliaVet.
